Nature excursions
Numerous excursion trails that unwind through woods and alpine grazings; spectacular excursions towards the enchanting Dolomitic peaks, exciting climbing routes (equipped or not) for all tastes and degrees of difficulty … all of this awaits you in Alta Badia. Enjoy the unrivalled Dolomitic landscape and allow yourselves to explore our dreamlike landscape in your excursions!

Equipped tracks
These equipped tracks, known as ‘vie ferrate’, were arranged in the Dolomites during World War I as military tracks. The trails are now organised with ropes, stairs, chains and permanent hooks. They are the ideal way to climb and explore the bizarre Dolomitic rocks!

Guided excursions
Alta Badia’s tourist association organises weekly excursions with expert guides. Seize the opportunity to get to know our marvellous Dolomitic valley while walking along trails designed for all degrees of difficulty.

High Dolomitic tracks
The high tracks are excursion paths that connect a number of Alpine huts within the Dolomites. While some of these excursions can be very long, requiring up to two weeks to complete, much shorter itineraries are available within the spectacular Dolomites’ high tracks.

Theme tracks
Tales of queens and gnomes or interesting facts about the local nature – Alta Badia offers a series of extremely interesting theme tracks, suitable for trained excursionists and beginners alike. Explore the trails of the Ladine legends, the larch path, the “Klaus & Dorothea von der Flüe” meditation path …
